The Ford Escort’s of David Hills - Paul Bennett and John Hills – Mick Tuckey contested AMSAG’s Bago Forest Classic based on the north coast town of Kendal 4.5 hours north of Sydney. The rally was run over 140kl of demanding north coast forest roads.David and Paul were the quickest bringing their Escort home in eight place ahead of John and Mick in eleventh. The Bago Forest Classic consisted of eight special stages.Round two will be the Sunny Corner Rally on 21st April conducted over 110kl of competitive rallying.
