Life is throwing us more curveballs at the moment . MG Car club Qld has decided to postpone the Australian Hillclimb Championship to late November in the hope the event may still be run. The following statement was made last night. Could you please put this up on your website to keep everyone informed.
"The MG Car Club of Qld. is endeavouring to host the 2021 Australian Hillclimb Championship at the Mt Cotton Hillclimb over the weekend of 25th to 28th of November. We are very aware of the current COVID-19 and lockdown situation that is currently in place in many states. We remain hopefully that free movement between the states will once again be possible by the end of November. We will continue to closely monitor the progress of closures and restrictions in the ensuing weeks to make a final decision on the 15th October, 2021 as to whether the Event will still be held this year.
Also please note, this year we will be holding the first Motorsport Australia Junior Hillclimb Championship, to be eligible for this championship the driver needs to be over 14 years old and be under 18 years old on the 27th November, 2021. The Entry Fee for the Junior Hillclimb Championship is $120.00

Any monies paid will be refunded should the event not take place.
