.Speed Weekend Restrictions - Additional
The weekend events will be open to competitors from all areas with the exception at this stage of those from Victoria having regard to the COVID 19 situation and relative restrictions- this may change in the lead up depending on government decisions. The situation in NSW and Bathurst (after Supercheap 1000) will also be monitored closely to ensure minimisation of risk to the city and surrounding areas.
Due to the stringent requirements put in place and associated costs involved it is regretted that camping will not able to be facilitated in McPhillamy Park on this occasion as has been provided for in the past.
This is a tough decision, however necessary in line with rules and regulations in this strange world we have been placed in. We hope that the reasons are understood – we will have a lot of extra requirements to be addressed just to allow for the events to be conducted that will require a lot of volunteers to administer.
A COVID 19 declaration will be forthcoming for entrants and crew. Competitors and crew will be issued with wrist bands at the point of entry to the event to assist our designated COVID Marshalls – this is a process being put in place to assist us in line with the MSA approved COVID 19 Plan.
COVID 19 DECLARATION AND RESTRICTIONS
A Covid 19 Venue Plan has been developed by the Bathurst Light Car Club for this event and it will be implemented and enforced by the Covid 19 Official on site. The plan is designed to keep ALL participants in the event safe at all times. ALL participants, competitors, supporters and officials, will be required to sign the Covid 19 Declaration on arrival at the venue providing their full name, address and contact number. While on site, ALL participants must comply with the safety signage placed throughout the venue and must practice hygiene practices in accord with the guidelines outlined in these signs.
DO NOT ATTEND THIS EVENT IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY TO YOU:
- Experiencing a fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, sore throat or lack of smell.
- Have travelled overseas in the past 14 days
- Have had contact with someone who has travelled overseas in the past 14 days.
- Have had contact with a person known to have had COVID - 19 in the past 14 days
